Terms of Use

1. Who we are

The Pixiplay app is published and operated by Pixiplay LTD. By using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the app.

2. The app is for children and is set up by an adult

Pixiplay is intended for children and must be set up and supervised by a parent or guardian. By setting the app up you confirm that you are an adult and that you are the child's parent or guardian, or are otherwise authorised to consent on their behalf.

3. Your account

An anonymous account is created automatically on your device the first time the app runs — no sign-up and no email address. You may optionally link an Apple or Google account to reach the same data from another device. You are responsible for the device the account runs on and for the child profiles you create on it.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Some content requires a paid subscription. All payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play. We never receive or see your card details.

  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current period.
  • Subscriptions are managed and cancelled in your store account settings, not inside the app.
  • Refunds follow the policy of the store where the purchase was made.
  • Prices may change in future, and no change will apply to a period already paid for.

5. Content and intellectual property

All content in the app — artwork, audio, stories, text and software — is owned by or licensed to Pixiplay LTD. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for non-commercial purposes within your family.

6. Acceptable use

  • Do not copy, distribute, sell or publicly display the app's content.
  • Do not reverse-engineer the app or its services, or work around its restrictions.
  • Do not access our servers by automated means or in a way that harms the service or other users.
  • Do not use the app in breach of any applicable law.

7. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the app at any time. Deleting a child profile permanently removes it along with all of its progress and scores. To delete an entire account, write to privacy@pixiplay.app. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms or harms the service.

8. Privacy

Our privacy policy explains what we collect and what we do not, and forms part of these terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is". We make reasonable efforts to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant that it will operate uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not guarantee any particular educational outcome for any child.

To the extent permitted by law, Pixiplay LTD is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months. Nothing in this clause limits rights that cannot be waived by law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will change the date above, and we will make any significant change clear inside the app.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
